Understanding Camera Angles and Blocking
· Basics of camera angles and shots (close-up, medium shot, wide shot)
· Importance of eyelines and blocking for on-screen performances
· Practicing on-set etiquette and collaboration with the director and cinematographer
· Scene work focusing on blocking and interaction with the camera
Week 4
Emotion and Vulnerability
· Techniques for accessing and portraying authentic emotions on screen
· Managing nerves and stage fright in front of the camera
· Exploring vulnerability as a tool for powerful performances
· Scene study exercises focusing on emotional range
Week 5
Improvisation for Screen
· Basics of improvisation techniques for screen actors

Audition Techniques

Production Projects
